Funds raised by Enzoani Fashion Event will go towards expanding:
Wellspring invested last year to build a peanut butter factory in Fond Parisien Haiti to produce fortified peanut butter for malnourished children attending the local Fond Parisien school. The factory will bring relief to the 560 students and create a product to distribute countrywide.
One of the greatest demand areas for HCM’s education programs is in Fond Parisien, Haiti. The school can barely feed half of the students and its population is growing beyond its capacity. The roof has holes & the rooms are too small. We will raise the full amount for construction to begin and giving the organization direct funds to continue to run the everyday operations as it expands.
Wellspring has worked closely with St. Vincent’s school for the handicapped for many years and our team has watched Jojo, who once was a young boy attending the school, grow into a successful man now gaining notoriety in the fine art world. Jojo has no arms or legs and yet makes some of the most beautiful paintings one has ever seen. Check out Jojo’s touching story on the blog at http://blog.wellspringtrust.org/
